Frank Leanza Lawyer Attorney

Frank Leanza is one of the founding partners at Leanza, Agrapidis & Maroules P.C, which was formed collaboratively in 1984 with Evans Agrapidis. Since the firm's inception, Mr. Leanza has served as general corporate counsel and represents numerous public entities including but not limited to: the North Hudson Sewerage Authority and Guttenberg Planning Board. Mr. Leanza served as the Judge for the Guttenberg Municipal Court from 1990-2013 and has acted as Special Counsel to the Borough of Carteret, Counsel to Secaucus Municipal Utilities Authority and as the Town Attorney for Secaucus, New Jersey. In addition, Mr. Leanza has also served as Counsel to the Secaucus ABC and Counsel to the West New York Housing Authority.

Prior to the inception of Leanza, Agrapidis & Maroules P.C., Mr. Leanza worked as an associate attorney with Harwood Lloyd in Hackensack, New Jersey from 1980 to 1984 where Mr. Leanza acted as general corporate counsel for various public entities, including the Borough of Fort Lee.

Mr. Leanza was admitted to the Bars of the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court (New Jersey and New York Southern District), the United States Tax Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, as well as the New York Supreme Court.

Frank Leanza received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Science, Summa Cum Laude, from the Newark College of Engineering with Distinction in the Humanities in 1972. Mr. Leanza was distinguished as a Trustee Scholar, Honor Member, and was inducted into Tau Beta Pi and the National Engineering Honor Society. In 1978, he graduated Cum Laude from Rutgers School of Law in Newark, New Jersey where he received his Juris Doctor degree. Mr. Leanza received his Master of Science (Management Science), from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1979, and in 1982 graduated with a Master of Laws (Taxation) from New York University School of Law.

Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Leanza was employed by New Jersey Bell Telephone Company as a Special Projects Engineer and Construction Supervisor and served as Assistant to the Executive Director for the New Jersey Public Utility Commission. In addition, Mr. Leanza worked as a Tax Consultant for Touche Ross and Company located in Newark, New Jersey.
